Going to get 2b gold in Atlantica for my month of January goal, yeehaw! For February, my goal is to obtain a Manticore. I'm not sure how long it will take to get to this goal, but just in case I would also like to increase my boots crafting skill up to 51+. Yeah!

A bit of Uto-drama with kd merge and new king. Always good for lulz.
Santa Villa is back on Atlantica Online! Getting tired of it already. Luckily I have now met my goal of 900k might. +1 nix armor adds a ton more might than a mere +0, although looking at the charts it increases in an abnormal fashion. My next goal will be 1.5 billion gold in bank by end of January.
Iron gave me a +0 OSG for Christmas. I chanced enchanting it with one of my equipped +0 OSG and... it came out +2! How exciting!
Beat wHITEHORSE in FL by a fairly good margin. This is strange, as he is 130+, uses evil gear, has a druid, and has a sheriff. Believe he let himself get too cocky with these differences and failed to properly physical spike and awaken. Had he tried to spike my front row, I'd probably be dead. Also, had he awakened more often. This is why Reukai does not PvP anymore save for lulzy competes and TQ. Two upgrades, two gear tiers, and higher tiered mercs make things near impossible for people like me now.

Been wasting less on AO, although I had an opportunity to go to the GNGWC 2010 North American regional tourney. That was kind of exciting.

Somehow I got into my head the notion that DOh was coming back to the kd. Not sure how, perhaps a dream, but it's apparently not real. Reading back over old logs has really made me nostalgic. Vega and DOh were a really important and active part of the kd back then, but they've disappeared now. Then again, I've been pulling a disappearing act as well. The kd's just not quite the same as it was and Atlantica keeps drawing me away more and more.
Speaking of which, final build for Atlantica:

It works decently and I've also gotten a better feel for PvP, so have slowly been winning a bit more. Hermes and Jino-kun have been giving me loads of help on that front. But I'm still not sure where I'm going with this. Don't know who to switch out for what new mercs and such. Grr.

So. Comic-con. Was super-awesome. Lots of comics, TV shows, and games. Oh yes, the games. Not that I spent all that much time staring at gameplay.
Atlantica still owns my soul. Utopia is still hanging on there. This age kind of craps, speaking of it. Rampant inactivity and the like; some of it avoidable, some of it not. It's a shame we lost so many provinces at the end of the last age.
As far as Atlantica goes, I'm trying to figure out my party for PvP stun build.
So far:

Vik Main* Arty
Monk Exo Sham
Main is a gunner. Exo will probably be moved to arty's position once he's trained up, then I will need to do the princess quest, get her to level 50, and then do the cannoneer quest to replace the arty. Not sure what else to do. Hum.

So WizGed is a spammy, annoying idiot who does not know the mechanics of UK or how to keep a low profile. He thinks the somewhat randomized battle mechanics of are a bug and that the answer to bottom-feeding is to... try to build up more GIFT and offer the enemy even more reason to keep harassing him. Genius.
If someone is after resources, the answer is to stop giving them the incentive (aka storing resources) to hit you. That means keeping resources out via fake shipments or on the market. To keep your army from dying, send them out all the time as well.
It's annoying how the game begins to demand more and more activity as one rises in level. I can't get away with logging in twice a day or else I would surely be hit for all the stored resources or have storage max out and waste them.
Also, he is still an idiot.
I feel like I may only play out one round of UK. It would be far too repetitive otherwise.

I have no fucking clue what the hell is going on anymore.
Okay, that's a lie.
But geez.
I like this kd so much. I never knew until now how much resentment and fragility there was beneath it all. Had I known, probably would not have grown to like everyone so much. Well, what can I do but sit back and watch the fireworks? Yeah, get a kick out of it all--but it sucks that it has to actually be people I've grown to love and respect.
We'll see what we'll see.
However, it must be noted that in times of distress, the rifts truly begin to show themselves. Things fall apart more because of self-fulfilling prophecies than any other reason. People have the perception of inactivity and the kd going to pieces, let loose their anxieties and hidden resentments, and as a result--the kd falls. It's an ongoing process since the beginning of Utopia. It has increased noticeably. Turning and turning in a widening gyre...
